Cleaning your window screens is easier than you think.
Without regular cleaning your window screens can become dirty, damaged, and may eventually need to be replaced. It’s always less expensive to clean your window screens than it is to replace them, so take the time clean those screens.
Before you get started here’s what you’ll need:
- Warm water
- A mild dish soap
- A soft bristle brush
Let’s get started!
Step 1. Remove your window screens from the frame.
Note: Make sure you keep track of the window frame the screen came from. This will help you easily put your screens back in place when you’re done.
Step 2. Mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water.
Step 3. Using a soft bristle brush gently scrub your window screens with the soapy water.
Step 4. Rinse your screens using warm water.
Step 5. Once your window screens are completely dry, replace them in their window frame.
You’re done! Wasn’t that easy?
