  • Simonton Windows Looking to Hire 75 Full-Time Workers in Paris

    COLUMBUS, OHIO – Simonton Windows, one of the nation’s leading suppliers of quality vinyl windows and patio doors, has the immediate need to hire 75 workers at its Paris, Ill. facility. The full-time position openings are primarily for production operators in glass, glazing, vinyl and loading operations.

    “We’re excited to be able to bring more jobs to Paris and enrich the local economy,” says Russ Chaney, plant manager of the Simonton facility in Paris. “People hired for these positions will be eligible for full benefits after just 90 days, receive competitive wages and immediately be eligible for overtime work. We’re operating on a five-day work week and we have long-term openings in both our day and evening shifts for full-time workers.”

    Chaney reports that 30 full-time workers have recently been hired to fill the needs of the facility, which have escalated in recent weeks.

    “There are several positive factors at play here driving our need to hire 75 additional full-time workers at the Paris plant,” says Chaney. “Among them, the company consolidated some of its operations into the Paris facility in late 2011, which has resulted in expanded workloads at this plant. Also, Simonton launched the new Asure™ line of energy-efficient replacement windows and patio doors within the past few weeks. This product line’s success has positively affected manufacturing operations at our facilities.”
